Why "verified" actually means something on MindHub

May 20, 20263 min readMindHub Team

Anyone can call themselves verified. We make providers prove identity, payment history, and platform integrity before they ever touch your money.

Three layers of verification — they all have to pass.

1. Identity (KYC)

Government ID + selfie + liveness check. Reviewed by humans within 24 hours.

2. Payment readiness

Withdrawals only unlock once we confirm:

  • Verified phone number
  • Verified email
  • Connected payout method (Stripe Connect or local bank)

3. Platform integrity

  • No 1-star pattern in past contracts
  • No open disputes
  • KYC not expired

If any of the three fails, the green KYC badge disappears from the public profile.

Why this matters

Cheap marketplaces give every signup a "verified" label and let you find out the hard way that it doesn't mean anything. We make verification load-bearing — if a provider has the badge, your money is safer with them.
